Luminorosa Flammea, named from Latin terms for light, rose, and flame, is a bioluminescent flowering plant in the Nereid Petalus cluster. It features multiple elongated, undulate petals with a violet-blue to fiery orange gradient and semi-translucent texture with speckling. The flower’s center contains bioluminescent reproductive structures. Its slender stem holds broad, elongated leaves exhibiting air current undulation, enhancing visibility in tropical rainforest understories. Emitting blue-green light (450-495 nm) via luciferin-luciferase reactions, it contrasts cool luminescence with warm petal bases. Growing at 15–30°C, 10–25 cm height, and 15–50 g weight, it attracts nocturnal pollinators like moths and beetles. Taxonomically, it belongs to a family specialized for low-light pollination, vital in a vulnerable habitat facing loss.
