Floragladius Lumina, named from Latin 'flora' (flower), 'gladius' (sword), and 'lumina' (light), features lance-shaped, translucent, radially symmetrical petals varying from pale aquamarine to deep rusty red, with veining and glandular photocyte dots. It has broad, curved leaves with reticulate venation enabling aquatic undulation in tropical rainforest canopy niches. The slender, firm stem supports 15-30 cm height and 0-15g weight, adapted for suspended growth in 20-30°C environments. Bioluminescence emits 420-490 nm light via luciferin-luciferase reactions in cellular petal clusters, attracting nocturnal moth and bat pollinators. Taxonomically in genus Aurelia Petalina, among 20 related species in a bioluminescent flora family, it is ecologically crucial for nighttime pollination in rainforest canopies.
