Luminis Petalus, named from Latin 'luminis' (light) and 'petalus' (petal), is a luminescent flowering plant with translucent, radially arranged petals featuring soft margins and vitreous granules that enhance light diffusion. Prominent petal veining and filamental stamens with faintly yellow-glowing pollen characterize its flowers. Ovate, semi-transparent leaves display scattered bioluminescent specks. Slender, flexible stems show light-responsive swaying. Bioluminescence occurs at 420-490nm (pale blue) via luciferin enzymes in petals and leaves. Native to tropical cloud forests at 10-25°C, it grows 10-30 cm tall, weighing up to 15g. Belonging to the Aurelia Petalina genus (family with 10 bioluminescent species), it attracts nocturnal pollinators like moths and glow-worm beetles. Its rare but stable status reflects adaptation to cloud forest microhabitats.
