What to expect

The experience unfolds across five omni-sensory galleries, each offering moments of exploration, immersion, and discovery. Visitors are encouraged to move at their own pace while allowing time for scheduled sequences during onboarding and within select environments.

Timing

Exhibition tickets are sold in 30-minute increments to manage capacity and preserve the experience. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled entry time for check-in and onboarding.

Expected Duration

Approximately 1.5–2 hours, depending on attendance and capacity.

Late Arrival

If you arrive after your scheduled time, we will do our best to accommodate you. Entry may be delayed depending on capacity.

Biosensing Participation

Participation is entirely optional — visitors may opt out of data collection or the scent experience at any time before, during, or after their visit.

Please Note:

Guests 13 and older are permitted to participate in wearing the devices throughout the experience.Children 12 and under will not be permitted to wear devices.

Getting Here

The DATALAND entrance is located on the 4th floor (street level), across from Walt Disney Concert Hall on Grand Ave.

Please note: the entrance is not located at the DATALAND billboard on Grand. If you arrive there, continue through the Grand LA courtyard at street level to reach the DATALAND entrance.

Self Parking

Self-parking is available at The Grand LA garage, located at 121 S. Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. With validation, current rates are $4.50 for the first 3 hours and $5 each additional hour up to the Daily Max of $42.

Note that your parking ticket may say 151 S Olive Street.

Once parked, North elevators will bring you closest to the DATALAND entrance on Level 4.

Parking at The Grand LA is owned and operated by a third-party parking provider. Parking rates, availability, hours of operation, and policies are determined solely by the parking operator and may change without notice.

DATALAND guests may receive parking validation for a discounted parking rate when parked in designated participating facilities. Validation does not provide free parking and discount amounts are subject to the parking operator's current rates and policies.

Please note that parking availability is not guaranteed. During peak periods, special events, or when the primary garage reaches capacity, guests may be directed to alternative nearby parking facilities.

DATALAND validations are only valid at participating parking locations and may not be accepted at alternate garages or surface lots.

We encourage guests to allow extra time for parking and to consider rideshare or public transportation when visiting during busy periods.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is available at the Conrad Los Angeles, located on 1st Street between Grand Avenue and Olive Street. With validation, rates are $15 for the first three hours and $5 for each additional hour, up to a daily maximum of $62.

Rideshare Drop Off

Rideshare drop-off locations may vary depending on the app. A convenient option is the Conrad Los Angeles valet entrance on the third floor, located between Grand Avenue and Olive Street. From there, guests can take the elevator or stairs up to the fourth floor and follow signage to the DATALAND entrance.

Additional drop-off points may be available around The Grand LA, including along Grand Avenue near the street-level entrance facing the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Metro | Subway

DATALAND is within walking distance of two Metro Rail stations:

Civic Center / Grand Park Station, served by the Red and Purple Line subways

Grand Avenue Arts Station

From either station, follow signage toward Grand Avenue and The Grand LA.

EV Charging

EV charging availability is determined by the parking operator at The Grand LA garage and may be limited. Guests are encouraged to check current availability upon arrival or plan accordingly.

Tickets can be saved as a QR code on your device or added to your digital wallet for entry. Creating an account is optional and is only required if you would like to access additional digital features, such as archiving your visit or managing memberships.

Please remember to complete the participation waiver before your visit to expedite entry. You can access the waiver through your order confirmation e-mail using the instructions below.

Waiver

To expedite your check-in, you can view and sign the participation waiver on your order page. All visitors are asked to review and acknowledge applicable visitor terms, safety notices, and optional participation terms before entering DATALAND or using optional devices.

How to find the participation form:

View your ticket confirmation e-mail. “Your DATALAND order confirmation” is the subject line.

— Click the View or Manage Tickets button on the order page.

— Click the View Waiver option below your ticket(s).

Each guest must complete the participation form before entering DATALAND.

DATALAND is designed to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable California accessibility standards. Our spaces are built to ensure inclusive access for guests of all abilities.

Mobility Device

Wheelchairs are not available for guests to use or rent. Guests are welcome to bring their own mobility devices. Personal wheelchairs, walkers, and other ADA-compliant mobility aids are permitted throughout the venue.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at DATALAND in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

A service animal is defined under the ADA as a dog that is individually trained to perform tasks or work for a person with a disability. Service animals must remain under the control of their handler at all times and be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless those devices interfere with the animal’s work.

In accordance with the ADA, service animals are welcome. Emotional support, therapy, and comfort animals are not permitted.

Elevator Access

Elevator access is available to guests within DATALAND.
