Florae Radiantem Solis, meaning flower radiating the sun, is a bioluminescent species emitting 420-490nm light. It features dense, complex inflorescences with layered, semi-translucent petals transitioning from creamy white edges to vibrant coral-red centers, containing glandular trichomes likely housing bioluminescent compounds. Central reproductive parts are clustered for efficient pollen transfer. The slender stem supports 10-25cm height and 15-50g weight. Native to tropical rainforest understory, it thrives at 15-25°C in shaded, humid microhabitats. Part of Noctifloral Anthophytes, it blooms nocturnally and belongs to a genus of 10 species using luciferin-luciferase bioluminescence. Pollinated by moths and night insects, it plays a key role in nocturnal pollination and rainforest biodiversity.
